Blumberg<\/p>\n<p>We study Fe<sub>1+y<\/sub>Te<sub>0.6<\/sub>Se<sub>0.4<\/sub> multi-band superconductor with T<sub>c<\/sub> = 14K by polarization-resolved Raman spectroscopy. Deep in the superconducting state, we detect pair-breaking excitation at 45cm<sup>\u22121 <\/sup>(2\u2206 = 5.6 meV) in the XY (B<sub>2g<\/sub>) scattering geometry, consistent with twice of the super- conducting gap energy (3meV) revealed by ARPES on the hole-like Fermi pocket with dxz\/dyz character. We analyze the superconductivity induced phonon self-energy effects for the B<sub>1g<\/sub>(Fe) phonon and estimate the electron-phonon coupling constant \u03bb<sub>\u0393<\/sub> \u2248 0.026, which is insufficient to explain superconductivity with T<sub>c<\/sub> = 14 K.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/journals.aps.org\/prresearch\/abstract\/10.1103\/PhysRevResearch.2.013373\" target=\"_blank\">Phys.
